§03 · Timeline

Four steps from maybe to shipped.

Custom always starts with paid discovery. You leave with a scoped plan and a fixed-price quote — or you walk away, your call.

  1. Step 1

    Free strategy session

    Same free 60–90min session every lead gets. Outcome: "This is Pack 3 territory, here's why, here's what discovery looks like."

  2. Step 2

    Paid discovery

    Open-ended, hourly. Deliverables: workflow documentation, technical architecture, scope document, risk register, and a fixed-price build quote. At end, you decide: yes (sign build contract) or no (keep the docs, pay only for discovery, walk away).

  3. Step 3

    Build phase

    Fixed-price, locked during discovery. Phased delivery with milestone-based payments. Typical timeline 6–16 weeks depending on scope.

  4. Step 4

    Launch + transition

    Tailored launch. Training fits the scope. Hand-holding window. Transition to Care Plan + optional SLA + optional Pack 4 monthly for ongoing evolution.

What signals Pack 3.

If your need can be quoted in 30 minutes after a strategy session, it's not Pack 3 — it's Pack 1, 2, or 4. Pack 3 is where research is needed to even price honestly.
